    stereo glare

alright, I'm sure everyone has to deal with the glare associated with the display on aftermarket recievers. specifically, once the sun shines, you can't even see the words.

anyway found solutions to the issues?

I can't really tell if you are having problems with reflective glare from outsight..or just that the display is glaringly bright.

Most have wonderfully hidden controls that allow the user to adjust the contracts. I had a similar problem. and didn't have the manual on the HU from a previous owner. I fouund the pdf online and finally figgered out how to adust the contracts.....and even reset the color to match the BMW "orange" lighting.

I'll bet yours has contracts and brightness controls built-in.

I have customized the color to w orange amd maxed out the brightness. Iy is a kvc unit. Issue remains that when bright light shine on it all color is gone so I think it falls into reflective glaring. I think I will try some anti reflective film made for electronic devices
