Who's got the JVC Arsenal KD-A735BT?

I just ordered one, I'm one of those people that doesn't do much research and just "goes for it". LOL.

Been searching for a head unit for the E36 M3. My demands were a bit tough to meet since I wanted something with rear USB and something that would match the factory dash illumination. I wanted to do these things without spending $300 on a head unit! I'm not sure why it's so hard to find a rear USB these days.

About 5 months ago I was looking for a head unit for the turbo E30 and went with the Kenwood KDC-X995 after reading great reviews. I think I scored it for $200 shipped through Amazon. I am pretty happy with it as it does look and sound great but it's almost too complicated for my simple needs.

For the E36 M3, I ended up buying the JVC Arsenal KD-A735BT from Crutchfield. Paid $129.99 shipped including install kit (after using $20 discount code I found online). We'll see how it does!

PM me for instructions on how to properly wire that deck. If you follow their instructions your deck will run hot and will overload the input of the amp, thus sounding like poo poo.

Make sure you get the antenna adapter too.

I have a KD-R900 in my E34, just about the best SQ for under $600 you will ever find.

IMO the JVC menus suck, but their decks kick ass performance-wise. Hopefully, yours won't piss you off. 3 steps to get to the sub level? FU, JVC.

Paint your fucking wheels too, whore.

Does that apply to the KD-A95BT as well?

All aftermarket decks in later BMWS- basically, anything after 1991 or so

I love the menus, pretty simple for me.

Old kenwoods are so so so confusing

Luke, what is this proper wiring you speak of? And I'm still waiting on an E36 lukebox!

Just checked: I have the JVC Aresenal KD-A815 and it's great for the money. Front and rear usb, aux in, ipod/iphone connectivity. The handsfree isn't great but I wasn't banking on it to be any good.
