    Alpine CD9886 vs DEH-80prs

So I saw this deck the other day and was thinkn about getting it. Or should I stick with the deck I have( Alpine 9887 ). I honestly have never replaced a deck until it ceased to function. I had an Eclipse deck before this.

It might help to post a picture of each deck in the top post, along with specs, and what kind of system you want to build. Most people are too lazy to google the two decks for you. If you put everything in context, people would probably chime in.

As for the alpine it offers similar stuff to the Alpine but the pioneer has newer tech inside.http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cda-9887/

I'm not sure if the specs match your needs, but I had that Alpine in my wife's car and really liked it. If it had perfect color match to the e30 it would probably be in my car.

I can vouch for good color matching on the 9887, I have it in my car and love it.

If your current head unit works, unless the new one is adding features you don't currently have, it's a waste of money IMO.
