Today, I installed a new stereo deck, as I've done many times in the past, and everything went great. Until, I decided to screw back in in one of the speakers.
I decided to do this while the music was playing, just to make sure nothing went wrong, but this may not have been the best idea. When I placed the speaker back in the kickpanel area, the radio just shut off. Odd, I thought, so I just turned the key off and then back on.
Nothing.
I then ripped the radio back out, broke out my trusty multimeter, and tested the voltages on the radio. Only 1.5v on the Ignition wire, and 3.5v on the main 12v line.
Everything in the fusebox looked/tested fine with a resistance check, and everything else in the car is 100% functional, so I'm not quite sure where to go from here. Any ideas?
