not 100% on what goes where for this to work. (90% but im guessing this will work without relays...)

    on the CN3 block
    would i use
(alarms) blue and black to the Green and black stripe (in trunk to lock)
    and
(alarms) blue to the green with purple stripe (in trunk to unlock)
    to the
    Green -----------Lock-------------Green and black stripe
    Blue--------------unlock----------green with purple stripe

and stolen images from another e30 trunk

antennae reception is not good in the trunk. install it in the dash. very simple to do. takes 2 hours including cleanup for keyless and alarm

I cannot speak for the alarm or what product you are installing, however, I can say that I installed a simple keyless entry (the popular $25 model) in less than an hour in the trunk--velcro'd it next to the power antenna. Hit me up if you are interested on particulars. I recommend a blade, solder and electrical tape. The hot wire and ground on the power antenna were the deal clinchers for me. One man's opinion. DR

        thanks you two.

and i have a 1,000 ft. alarm, with great antenea, should be fine. i can easily relocate any ant. though.

gonna do lead solder, heat shrink, and window up/down on this too...i was just a bit skeptical on the relays, and wire colors.

perhaps this weekend is when i will have time to actually do it, ive been labelling all the wires in spare time (inside where its dry and bright). should be a cinch, even if i need the relays....
