My car had one of its rear speakers removed by a PO. Probably it was blown and rattled. Suggestions on suitable replacement, preferably to run off factory amp?

5 1/4" speakers is what you looking for, shallow as there's not much backroom there.
I had sony xplods way back when, now JL or Alpine has some good options. -

then get the luke box 2x8" KICKER Comp 8-Inch Subwoofer 4 Ohm
MRX-M50 - Alpine Monoblock 500 Watt RMS Subwoofer Amplifier
im running this now. and it's damn good. other than subs, you cannot buy better for an e30 vert.
btw w/o getting a sub it will always sound like crap.Much wow
