Dynaudio Esotec 242... whos installed in E30?

    Yessir, besides the plastic kick panel trim it fits without cutting or drilling anything.

    I don't know if I mentioned this above, but I switched to a MW162GT midbass, which is the stamped steel basket one. This fits no dramas as shown.

    The burlier MW162 / MW160 with the cast basket does not fit without cutting. I am pretty certain it would fit if you clearanced the sheet metal for the basket ribs, but I am not interested in doing that.

    So I now run MW162's in the what is perhaps the greatest waste of a speaker ever, rear fill band-passed between 80 and 250hz.

      and no, MW162's do not fit in the rear shelf without modification. A lot

      and re that picture 'why are some screw holes in the grille empty' - that is a grille from an MW162, which has a 6 hole BCD to mount. I used the MW162GT speaker which has a 4 hole BCD, so some mods were needed as the grilles are really nice and I wanted to use them
