Power Sunroof Won't Work

The sunroof would sometimes get stuck and i'd take out the cover by the switch hit it a couple times with a screw driver and it'll work after. After doing this 3 times the 4th time didn't work. I took off the cover by the switch and closed the sunroof manually by using a allen wrench. When twisting it shut with the allen wrench it was really hard, nothing close to a manual sunroof e30. What is wrong with my sunroof?

bump please! my e30 is depressed in the garage

Probably a bad motor, mine crapped out was a pain to close manually....would work for a second than make a horrible buzzing noise. There pretty easy to change.

Bad motor. Simple plug & play

I am not 100% sure its the motor. It doesn't make that noise. How can i make sure before buying a new motor.
