clipped wires help

theres 2 wires clipped under the back seat by the fuel pump....
if i connect them i start blowing fuse number 21 i believe it is, for the cluster lights and stereo....but if i plug it my fuel gauge works..want to find out what they are so i can trade where its shorting i believe its the radio the po installed...

Download the correct one for your car and start looking for wire colors.

I can tell you the brown one is a ground as all brown wires on an e30 are ground. The other is likely power if you connected them and blew fuses. I would recommend NOT doing that again.
