still trying to learn more about correct electrical practices.. so if someone can shed some light that would be great.
current car alarm's wires are spec: 22ga and to my understanding has a maximum output of .92 amps but the alarm sends off no more than .5 amps for lock/unlock triggers and dome light supervision. Of course I'm going to hook it up to a relay so it can send off more juice through the wires.
Now, if I were to wire the 22ga wires up to a RELAY that has 16ga wire for 12v and ground is this a fire waiting to happen?
