My friend just bought an XM tuner for his 93 dodge dakota. It works by plugging into the cigarette lighter. However, the cigarette lighter does not work. Is there any way to hard wire this to the car? And yes I did check the fuses.

Personally, I solder wire to the cigarette lighter adapter, then splice into the radio wiring.
