Door Tweeter search

I'm looking for recommendations on a strong, clean sounding, relatively wide frequency range tweeter that can be shoe-horned into the door tweeter pod shells. I'm wiling to mod/adapt the pods.

I'm running Infinity Kappa 5.25" coax in all 4 corners. Just wanting a tweet that will offer a little better precision than the stock "premium" tweets.


Amp is Jensen 5500 w/ Luke Box.

Wanna do a quick experiment?

take that tweeter out of the co-ax and put it in the stock location

I'm really happy with the Polk MM5251 tweeters installed in the pods/ and the 5.25" in the kick panels in my IX. driving them with a polk PA1100.5 5 channel amp. Fucking rocks. ( JL 12" sub in the trunk too!
