    Rear defrost not working

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a problem with my rear defrost function not working, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm pretty electronically inept so any advice would be great. I'm going to buy a voltmeter tomorrow but once I get it, I'm not going to know what to check because I'm so new at chasing electrical problems. So I guess what I'm looking for is any advice on what connections to check, and where they are. Sorry for such a newb-esque question, but hey, gotta start somewhere right?

first/easy thing to check is for disconnected terminals on both sides of the window. Then check for any blown fusees.

Ug. I'm dealing with the situation where only two lines do any defrosting. Upon inspection of my "grid" - it appears that most all lines have a break where they connect to the driver's side, vertical line. I picked up one of those line-repair kits - but haven't done the work yet..

Same situation here, except my rear window has been tinted. I've thought about picking up one of those repair kits, but I really don't want to strip the tint. Looks like I'll be picking up a different rear window.

OP, to help you out, for sure check the connections at the window. It's common for them to break off over the years. Them check fuses and the switch.
