So I recently replaced all rotors, pads, and brake pad wear sensors. After doing so my brake pad wear sensor began flickering all the time. At this point cruise control still worked. I had also installed a analog clock replacing the OBC. Cruise control still worked. Then I read that the brake wear sensor light is a common problem so I decided I would just solve the problem and remove the bulb, So I did so by pulling the gauge cluster and removing it. I put it back together with no light, and then no cruise control. Then I pulled it apart and found a little blue wire had became disconnected from the rear of the speedo, I reconnected it and still no cruise control, now I come to you guys.. what happened to my cruise control?!

Please give more detail on the plug near the ecu you speak of. And anyone else have any ideas? I also checked the fuse that was said to be the cruise control one. Fuse #10.View my build thread. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=287724

Not sure if it’s much help.. but here’s what I would do..
Start simple.
Check that the clutch switch is engaging/disengaging from clutch pedal. Sometimes, the bracket can bend away from pedal arm.
The cc system “brain box” is above the car’s “main brain” or ECU. The ECU is located above the glove box compartment.
The cc system includes a small wiring harness behind the dash. It starts at the cc system brain box and runs to an area behind the cluster.
From the area behind the cluster, the harness splits off for:
power & ground (foot-well area)
actuator control (through fire wall to actuator in bay) (thick, black with red stripe)
clutch switch (clutch pedal arm)
cc control (steering column)
vehicle speed (the blue wire to green plug to back of instrument cluster)
Check all connections.
Check for power to system.
I don’t think that removing the brake sensor bulb would effect the cc system – but I could be wrong. You may want to try replacing the bulb. (I would) (the sensor light trip itself usually isn’t too hard to trouble-shoot..) fwiw, I'd rather "cheat" the wear sensor system at the sensor wiring points than by removing the bulb, but then again, I'd rather fix the sensor points/connections than "cheat" the system in the first place..
The reason I say that is because 99% of the time something stops working after I work on something, it's because of an incorrect change I made.
Also, here is a link to Electrical Troubleshooting Manuals.
Good luck.

Also, as I found out with my CC after replacing cluster lights, the wire that you reconnected from the back of the cluster is the speed signal coming from the speedo in the gauge cluster going to the CC "brain box". If you didn't plug it in to the right spot it won't work. I want to say it plugs into the bottom right corner of the large connecter area on the back of the instrument cluster, but it's been a while since I did mine and I'm currently deployed so I can't look.
Here are a couple of links that will help:

I have once again pulled my dash and i found I had put the blue wire into the wrong spot, but now i am not sure which is the correct one, I am certain it must be one of the 3 spots at the top of the picture touching my index finger. can someone confirm which spot is correct for the little blue wire?

Seems like I read from different sources that any of the three will work.. and I have a memory of looking the plug over and noting circuitry running to all three of the plug-in points.
The fucker about trouble shooting the cc system is how much digging is involved to make a change - then taking the time to get out on a highway to test it.
Did you attempt to replace the brake sensor bulb and test it?
