Hey everyone, for the month of January we will be running a special price on our E30LTW8 sub boxes, and newly designed accompanying amp racks. These are the smallest, and lightest enclosures we sell. A complete system of box, subwoofer, and small amplifier could weigh in as little as 25 pounds!
New on the table are the amp racks for these boxes. Since the E30LTW8 does not extend all the way to the left side of the trunk, these racks do. There are two versions:
Flush - The mounting surface of the amp rack is flush with the back of the E30LTW8, allowing the use of a much larger amplifier. The overall area would be 36" x 15".
Recessed - The mounting surface on this is recessed approximately 2.5" from the back wall of the E30LTW8. With a smaller amplifier that would fit in 12" x 15", it could be mounted entirely on the amp rack, and not intrude into the trunk any further than the back of the box.
These amp racks are mounted with a screw through the rear seat wall into a padded cross member on the front of the rack. They have a hole for wires to pass through in the middle of the face.
As with all of our enclosures, removal of the thick trunk tar is necessary. Also, a rear strut brace will NOT fit with any of our boxes in place.
Normal price on a Grey E30LTW8 is $180 + Shipping, which usually runs about $30.
