    Need help with replacement XM

Currently have an old XM Commander. It's SOL at the moment. I was having a problem with it. I keep the unit and wiring in the glovebox and modified a junkyard ash tray to mount the receiver making it a clean install. Recently started acting up where you shut the glovebox and it would power either on or off. So I figure it's a loose wire somewhere. Tested the power wire going into the control box and find 12v. I was pulling the receiver out (have the receiver wire running through the ashtray and behind the dash into the glovebox) to check that wiring and ended up pulling the plug off the end of the wire. :-x So, I can buy a replacement receiver for $20:

And HOPE it fixes the original problem. Or I was thinking of upgrading to a newer XM receiver. I'm having a hard time finding one that would wire in like the Commander. Most I've seen with car kits plugs into the lighter socket instead of being wired behind the radio/dash. I need a clean install. Can't stand seeing wires everywhere. Little OCD that way. :p And I would like to stay under $50 if possible. Any help?

Forgot to mention, would also like to be able to use the existing antenna. I don't know of different XM radios have different connections for the antenna. Just wanted to avoid running a new one.

I thought they make wiring kits for the receivers?

By receiver I mean the controller/screen for XM. My HU isn't XM ready. I have run a AUX to the rear of the HU.
