I have owned the JVC KD-X50BT for almost a year now and absolutely love it.

BT streaming works flawlessly on my Android and iOS devices.
BT calling works perfectly fine in my e30 -- nobody has ever complained about background noise with the mic positioned on my steering column.
      Audio quality is top-notch.

The only caveat: the sub line out is underpowered. Not a huge deal, though.

Mtechnik3, you can find them on amazon or other sites I believe.

2ean, thanks for the review. You have hooked up a sub to your HU!? I'm confused.

I found this guy right here. I can't make up my mind. This thing would look great in the e30. Stock look http://www.crutchfield.com/p_023SFRN...0.html?tp=5684

Sites like the one you've already linked to (Crutchfield) have excellent resources to show you how all this works.

That looks like it will work fine as long as you don't plan to have a subwoofer.

I purchased a Nakamichi CD400 and a OEM CD43 not long ago. I had just clicked a link to crutchfield and showed it was no longer for sale.

So after thinking way too hard about all of this I decided to go with this one.
Seems like performance-wise disregarding BT, Pandora, blabla it is much more competitive and will allow for a better expansion of my sound system in the future. 6 channels, high voltage preamps, good 22watt rms, sub control etc.

Usually find this stuff cheaper on amazon but since it was on sale with free shipping it was only a few dollars difference and decided that I'd buy it off them for once.

              Thanks guys
