What wire to connect to illumination dimmer to?

Hi All - I'm installing a new radio into my 91 318is. The new radio has a wire named illum which will dim the until when I turn my headlights on. Is there a corresponding wire in teh BMW wiring harness I can connect that to? If there is can someone let me know the color of that wire?

Aftermarket-----------Dash Wires-----------Speaker Wires
(ILL) Orange-----------------Grey/Red (Changes to White at C302)

trace the wire back past the connector and use the grey/red

i know what you mean. we all should add some keywords to the posts.
like if i wanted to search for bilstein struts in a convertible, there might be a thread that talks about billies in a vert that would never be found.

like there was a thread looking for pics of an oem muffler tip. i took the pics but cant find the thread.
