Clarion IPod Interface

So I know many of you (myself included) are using the Clarion DXZ645, 745, 845MP decks in their cars.
Anyone using Clarion's IPod interface with it?

I have the 645mp, and I know that the interface will work - but Im unsure if artist/song information will show up correctly.

and I just said efffffff that to all that interface stuff.

I just plugged mine into the aux-in. sure its not as schnazzy, but if this ipod interface thingy is an option, I'd rather not pay extra money for the same end-result.

I mean hell, she can just look at the mp3 player for the information. Are you looking to tuck away the iPod as you listen?

That's my plan.
I would just use aux-in, but it's not the easiest thing to switch tracks on your ipod while driving. Not to mention, if I were to hardwire the Ipod somewhere, placed on a dock for example, I can't really remove it and change songs that way. I hate cables dangling around, plus it would be nice to put everything in the glovebox and forget about it.

i have an alpine interface for my nano and it reads it all fine. probly the same for any other interface.
