I have some questions about wiring my setup. I have an 89 vert with premium sound. I have vert box with the Soundstream RF-8W subs, Polk DB5251 5 1/4's in the front panels with seperate tweeters (in the stock location)and crossover boxes (100W RMS 4 ohm), and Alpine SPS-1329 5 1/4's (20W RMS 4 ohm) as rear speakers. I also got the planet Audio 1800.5 amp. I know the subs need to be wired in parallel but they have 4 terminals each so I wasn't sure how to wire them and also are they to go on a single channel that way? Also What about using the amp in Tri mode and the subs in MONO? Is that what is recommended? Are my components OK to use in combination. I don't have the factory speakers anymore. Also are the Polk crossovers still used or does the amp take care of that?
