    Completed Keyless Entry

I have purchased a German Engineering keyless entry, I am very excited to install it when I go home for break from college. Yes I have searched the forums and read write ups on how to install. I know how to do the basics, like lock/unlock. I am wondering if you guys have personal experience or can point me to some write ups of how to get the following hooked up:

    -Lights flash when unlocked
-Lights flash and horn/siren sound when locked
    -trunk pop

I want it to be like a modern car basically as far as keyless entry goes.

    I appreciate your help guys.

You can rig it so lights flash on lock/unlock. There are a few writeups somewhere.
Not sure about wiring to the horn.
Trunk pop would require a solenoid to physically release the trunk. I've never seen it done on an e30; then again, I haven't really looked.

Alright, thanks for the input, the trunk release is because I would rather not have a button on my key fob that does nothing. Any chance someone knows where a write up for the lights flashing is located?

I installed mine under the dash, to make the lights flash i attached "direction light" wire to the light switch so the running lights flash when locked/unlocked.

I am reading through your thread now, but I am curious if this will work for the german engineering one.

Wire it just as shown. You will most easily find the wires at the light switch.
