Threads from old antenna stuck in Radio RF cable

The cable that plugs into the antenna unit with the screw on silver cap around it, the cable has threads that broke off stuck inside it. Any idea how to get the threads out or how to replace the screw on adapter?

    Any help is appreciated

Wow...that sucks. You are gonna have to replace that cable, or at least the end.

      Good luck!

I'm actually in the exact same situation as this because the PO cut my cable end to detach the power antenna. How exactly would I crimp a new end to the cable? Or would I just replace the cable entirely?

Honestly, I say if performance matters at all, replace the whole cable. If not, it is a typical co-ax, so soldering an new pigtail on is a pain in the butt, but not impossible.

Radio shack sells no-solder terminals I believe. They basically screw together and pinch the woven jacket between the contacts.

Fixed this. Ended up having someone grind the twist part off. Took another one off another cable and my guy got it on! so good as new. Took him like 5 min
