    Pioneer 6300-UB won't turn on!

I have an '89 325i, premium system, and am installing a Pioneeer 6300-UB. I have made the following connections:

    RF+ Grey--------------Blue/Red-------------Grey/White
    RF- Grey/Black--------Brown/Orange--------Grey/Brown

    LF+ White------------Yellow/Red------------Grey/Red
    LF- White/Black-------Brown/Orange--------Grey/Violet

    RR+ Violet------------Blue/Black------------Black/White
    RR- Violet/Black-------Brown/Orange--------Black/Brown

    LR+ Green------------Yellow/Black----------Black/Red
    LR- Green/Black-------Brown/Orange--------Black/Violet

(+12V Unswitched) Yellow----Red/Green (Changes to Yellow at C302)

    (+12V ACC) Red-------------Violet/White (Changes to Voilet/Grey at C302)

(Ground) Black---------------Brown (may also be Brown/Black)

I have verified that the ground is good (5.1 ohms resistance), the constant power is good (12.6 V) and the switched power is good (11.95V with ignition on). However, when i press source on the head unit, or any button for that matter it does not turn on!

(Fuses were checked, but since I have voltage, I knew they were fine...)

Please help! I know the radio works fine, I had it sent in and then returned.

    Hi,
If you have it connected, out of the dash, antenna cable unplugged and using a multimeter on DC 20v setting and attach the black cable to the head unit chassis, and the red multimeter cable to the Red wire that goes IN the head unit and then to the Yellow and you get +11.5v or more on both of them.... then 1000000% the head unit is not working. In any case Red+Yellow have 12v+ and Black is grounded all head units turn on.

    Then start troubleshooting other causes.
Faceplate on firm and clean connector?
Any speaker wire grounded ? Remove all speaker wires and try to turn it on.
Connect it directly on a 12v battery with Red/yellow + black- .If that fails call the guys up that serviced it and be ... polite :)

I did each of those in sequence and got nothing, not even hooked up to the battery. Guess its going back!
