new to the site and the e30. i have a 4 door 316i to which i would like to improve the sound quality so far have changed the head unit and the footwell speakers. i would now like to put speakers in the doors. i was thinking of components for the front doors which i can source (hopefully) all parts. i would like to put speakers in the rear doors but i would like to know what size speaker i can fit in the door cards. any info would be gratefull

Are we to assume the car is late model?

I have done several sets of large 6.5" mids in the doors of late models, but only in 2 door cars.

I can offer advice on how to measure for fitment if you wish, but it is not at all "simple" to do.

Possible, yes, but not simple.
