Help ID this wire

    Help ID this wire

    This is from a m50 1992 manual, please help identify the blue wire circled in red and what connector it uses. The wire is separate from the O2 wire but due to the angle of the pic it seems like it is attached but they are not.

        Can you trace it's corresponding pin on the other end of the harness/connector and maybe determine what it's for from that vehicles wiring diagram?

            I think I figured it. On the body connector plug it goes to pin 25 and on the diagnostic port it is pin 12 which leads to the alternator.

              You are correct, that should be the alternator exciter wire.
