    Windshield wiper motor

I am in drastic need of help before Friday. My wiper motor is beginning to bind (It randomly stops) and i need to go to west Virginia for the weekend. this is an issue because it is suppose to thunderstorm in Lynchburg Friday. My question is, if there is anything i can do to help baby the motor along till this weekend is over. Like clean the motor if that is possible?

    Thanks,
    Bryce

Take cover off and hit with a hammer. Sometimes this works if it stops but will only work for so long. Get a motor local and install.

Your wiper relay may be dying. If you pull it out, give it a sniff and see if it smells burnt.

I just pulled mine out because my wipers are not functioning. The switch is OK (at least the sprayer works).

There is a hairline crack along the edge with the most connectors. I'm going to try to glue and solder it back to working shape. We'll see...

Yeah, mine would randomly stop when on the constant speeds-not intermittent. When on intermittent the delay would increase to the point of infinity... That's when someone told me about the relay. I thought I'd try and save you some "fun".
