Alpine CM5905 Display Replacement Issue

I tried swapping a working display into my CM5905, which had a damaged display and now I get " 000 " on the display or nothing at all.

I'm going to check the connection and see if the old display still works, but does anyone have any thoughts on what's going on here?

Found issue - when plugging LCD band of wires into board, you have to press the base of the white connector down with something that can reach down there.
