Head unit has no power at all?

When i checked all the wires before i tried to install the head unit they had power, i plugged the radio in and i heard it turn on. But its too small for the slot so i put in and out a few times trying to figure how i was going to get it to stay in. Unplugged the head unit, plugged it back in and, no power. The purple/gray wire has no power, and neither does the yellow wire whether the key is in or not. Checked all the fuses and they all look good. How can i fix this?

did you use a test light to check for power? try another earth point if you did

have you lost opperation of the cig lighter or any other electronics?

did you solder and tape your connections?

is your earth connected to the brown wire?
