Help with radio code, ye Masters of BMW secrets

The original Alpine headunit in my 1988 Super ETA became possessed with a fiendish demon this weekend. For no good reason this little troll emits a loud squeal and flashes gibberish on the screen. I performed a failed exorcism this weekend and now I've got to see if the 2 used factory radios that I've owned forever will work. But I don't have the codes for either of them.

I haf only a poor fake Cherman accent but I need ze codes to go mit my radios. Could some Master of BMW secrets find me the codes?

    A60164897C

    AL6BDUY0440177 this is a C33 Alpine unit

    Any help would be appreciated!

I normally just call the parts department at my local BMW dealer and they give the codes right over the phone.

I've tried but the local Winston dealer wants the VIN from the car.

      Anyone help me out?

It's quite easy. Remove the radio from your car.. Look at the serial number in the back and write it down. Call every single fckin BMW dealership asking if they can give you a radio code for an e30. Took me only 4 dealerships
