I meant compatible instead of plug-in play.
From the research I've done, it seems as if both the c33 and c43 units could be hooked up in an e30.Comment

Oh yeah, no problem-o. The big question is did you get the plug for it? Is it the big square dealy-o that pulgs in vertically? You will have some issues with making the antenna work, but no biggie.
You know that deck isn't meant to run speakers, right? You can, it is just gonna be about 7 watts at most and will get hot as hell. Plugged into an amp it will do fine.
