Reinstall this weekend (and probably next week)

Sorry for the ugly pic, new camera and I dunno how to use it yet

    Deck: Eclipse 5423

Components: CDT EF 6.5" mids, satnet 560 crossovers, and 1" silk tweets (Iguess this would be basically a 6.5 EF set? I bought the pieces seperate, but I'm pretty sure thats what ef's have.) Also not pictured is a set of .75" silk tweeters (also cdt), they are currently installed in my car and I don't need to pull em out this round.

Amp: Rockford Fosgate 800a2 (200x2 RMS @ 4 ohms for those who dont know)

Subs: 12" Soundsplinter RL-p's, got 2 of em.

Amp: PowerBass XA 3000D (rated at 3000x1 RMS @ 14.4v, I've heard it may be overrated but even if its 2500w, its more than enough)

Batteries: 2 Napa Bluetop copies (PITA to get batteries in Hawaii, so I hope these work good)

    Alt: Dominic Irragi 220Amp

Extra: AudioControl Epic-160 (db meter has to be semi useful in tuning even if its not accurate, at least better than my ear. The added bass is just a plus, a big one)

My alt isn't pictured either, but its sitting on my shelf, didn't feel like pulling it out. Got 50ft. of 0 gauge that needs to go in my car, along with a lot of sound deadening. The batteries are for the sole use of my stereo, I got a regular car battery to run the car.

Box is undecided. Well its almost fully built, but I need to cut my speaker holes in the baffle and setup my port. Roughly though i'd say 4cf, ported to 30hz, with about 60 sq. in of port area.

Some of it is new, some is used by me and I bought it new, and some is used by others but unused by me.

Sounds like your sound system is worth more than peoples' entire cars... good luck.

      Haha, probably true.
Theres probably at least $2000 worth of shit going in to my car (original purchase price of $500, but it was broken). I really dont know how much in all I've spent on sounds, because it's an ongoing hobby that I stopped keeping track of. I've got lots more on the shelf for future installs/testing/general install items (I help alot of friends with their stereo).

Hey man...just a quick note. Your Epicenter MUST have a full range signal...so you cannot use a sub crossover in your deck.

The reason is that the Epicenter looks at information between 200Hz and 1Khz, then builds lower frequency harmonics from that info. It has effect only below 50Hz, so its processor is fast enough to do that.

I don't remember the sub out on that deck having a low pass or not, but set up right, that epicenter is fucking amazing.

Also remeber the Epicenter has a pre-amp in it, so it will do 9.5 V RMS, with a 13V peak.

You can turn the crossover on and off on the sub out.

My friend has an epicenter and I love it, I downloaded a whole lot of chopped and screwed songs with heaps of low, long bass lines... loud songs + epicenter = good fun.

I've been running the classic series for about 1.5 years and absolutely love it. Tweeters are some of the best I've ever had, loud and clear all day without an ounce of harshness.

Due to my own reckless abandon for equipment (220w RMS on components rated at 90w RMS) I had to upgrade from 456 crossover to the 560's, then I blew a mid, so I replaced them with EF mids, and bought new tweeters at the same time.

If these are really a noticable "step up" from my old setup, then I know I'll be happy, because I never had 1 complaint about my old setup until I blew everything up :P
