I've used it in some customers cars. It takes a bit getting used to, remembering to push it again to stop it if you dont want the window to go all the way down/up.
Otherwise, it's been pretty flawless for the customer I think. Going on 3+ years of use.
Dont forget the single module one for the sunroof too! ;)Below the radar...

Try THE ALARM CONNECTION...
Thy're in North Hollywood (Tel: 818-508-8000; www.TheAudioPros.com). They sell a one touch module (not AutoLocs) for $100. Each module controls two windows. I believe the AutoLoc module requires one module per window. I had the AutoLoc modules for like five years with no problems; then the passenger rear window kept giving me problems. Ended up being cheaper to replace than to diagnose and then replace. So I replaced the AutoLocs. Problem ended up being a wiring issue probably caused by bad installation, but I got the AutoLocs as a gift and they served me well for 5 years so I can't knock their product. However, if AutoLoc is more expensive than 2 windows for $100, then call the guys at THE ALARM CONNECTION.
FYI, the owner and his nephew are both e30 lovers/owners/enthusiasts. I found out about them a year ago when my alarm suddenly stopped working. They could have ripped me off and told me I needed a new alarm system. Instead they were honest and just re-soddered some connections inside my remote and sent me on my way. Since I know they both own and love e30s, I felt more comfortable taking my car to them when I started having problems with my rear window. Haven't had any problems since, plus their installation comes with a lifetime warranty anyway.

I'm working on getting something like this done - I also want it to be remote operated though ;)
:pimp:
then I'm going to rig a power motor to the top, and hit a button on my remote, and the windows will go down as well as the top. All this while I'm walking to my car ;)
True story!
I can dream...

The Autoloc WC1000 is the unit I'm using, and if you want both up and down control, you need one unit for each window. It is not clear on BMP's website, but it does not mention whether it is also one-touch up in addition to down. Anyone have the BMP unit? If it is just a rebadged Autoloc unit you'll need two of them to go both up and down. If you just want one-touch down, each Autoloc unit will control two windows.
Do a search for the WC1000, there are cheaper places to get it than BMP.

As nice as it sounds to have remote top and windows on a vert, I dont think I'd go w/ a power top. I can pop or drop my top 3 times faster by hand the w/ powersigpic
