Keep blowing fuse 6

quick search didn't yield much. I've been doing some work to my stereo recently and I figure theres a short somewhere.

with the car on and HU on, I hit the brakes and fuse 6 blows and the brake lights go out. I can even hear it a bit through the speakers.

I don't see anything obvious when pulling the HU out. Any ideas?

...the radio isn't on fuse 6 - what kind of work were you doing to the radio? Any chance you're pulling power from the wrong lead and overloading the circuit?

What do you have the radio illumination wire hooked up to?
