    Factory amp help Please!

I have a car with a working factory head unit and premium sound option. When I got the car the amp was completely missing but luckily the harness is intact.
Here is the problem. I have tested for power at the harness for the amp and I have found several +/- 6v wires and one 12v wire and I have good continuity on the ground wire. But when I connect the amp nothing happens. The only thing I know to do is to check the fuse for power and it is not getting power on either side.
Is my amp bad or am I barking up the wrong tree? Or better yet does anyone have a schematic for the amp?

Yes, there are schematics all over the place. Start by downloading the ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) from www.wedophones.com.

Second, read my "amp bypass guide"

Third, why in the world are you putting that gutless turd back in your car?

GL and LMK if I can help.
