cloth seats ports or foam cut

    Hi all,

have no chance of finding a ski port seat here in Aus that matches my trim SOOOO

Wwith the cloth seats can i just cut out the foam and leave a thin layer so it retains its shape? This is my preference to using ports or cutting it out completely as i do not really want to show off the sub

I took a few inches of foam out of my seat, worked out great. I think I could have left an inch or so in there. It has held its shape fine.

no flapping about? I dont have a lukebox (no skill and cant really ship it..) so its not perfectly sealed but i still think cutting it will be worth it.

Good to hear it kept its shape

It definitely flaps when heavy bass is behind it, but the seat cover is still nice and tight. No way could anyone ever tell by looking that the foam was cut or that theres a woofer behind it. When you pull your seat out the foam will probably be aged and colored differently and leave a perfect outline of where the ski pass would have been. Thats where I cut.

          flaps... hrm

Thinking i will cut an inch or out then drill holes in the foam... or i will put a port in and cut less out
