Need help connecting stereo and speakers

The car is a 89 325i vert btw.
So, I picked up a unit to replace the old sony in it. I will need to take the old connector plug/wires from the sony off and connect the new connector for the kenwood.
I also got some speakers sincng e the rear speakers were not there, just the hook up wires. However, when i tested the new rear speakers on the sony they did not work.
I need some help figuring out what wire should go where and how this old sony connector is wired up. It just doesn't look right.
Here are some pics as is on the sony harness, it was like that since I took it out:

I think the rear wires just aren't connected but I can't find them in the BMW wire cluster. The green and purp wires are clearly not connected and a few others O.o
Luuuuke...I herd you know a little about these??? Please help!
Need to figure out where to find the rear speaker wires from the bmw oem harness.

Yaaa, it looks like the previous owner had ran new wiring to the front kick panel speakers and disconnected the door and rear speakers...
I am going to reconnect the front ones to stock wires, pull the unused ones out and start from scratch using the oem harness.
