worth it to install amp with stock premiums?

i recently installed some premium speakers into my car which sound great to me, but i have a free amp that i was given a long time ago. i know its a pretty cheap and old model, but am wondering if there would be any probable benefit in installing it:

i also had a question about the premium speakers i installed in the front. i found 2 matching fronts at pullapart and a third one i did not need to install. the design looks a little different between the matching pair and the third one. i am guessing they may have changed manufacturers at some point and the difference is only aesthetic and would not be audible?:

An amp will really "wake up" the stock premiums, so go ahead and put it in.

As far as the difference in the speakers, I'm not sure. I'd say your guess is probably correct in that they changed them at some point in time.

thanks for the input. ive already run 2 pairs of rcas so it should be pretty simple to hook it up. just wanted to hear others thoughts who had experience with it. the oddball speaker i will probably replace the lf with, as theres more wiring on that side than the rf, which is pressing more on the back of the speaker than the 3rd speaker i have probably would, as it has a sharper angle on the basket.

I'm running a 4 channel amp with premium speakers and used Luke's guide to tune and I think they sound amazing for stock.

They are a great speaker for the money. Better than most junk out there now that's made in China.

well i have had the amp installed for about a week now:

i do enjoy the way it sounds, the only problem is the rr channel starts to cut in and out after about 15 min of driving. any of you guys fixed something like this before? a quick googling suggests a possible output relay going bad in the amp. i guess i should just start saving some bread for a lukebox setup and 5 channel amp
