OEM deck housing cage?

In swapping the OEM magic touch deck in for some aftermarket crap I realized I don't have the proper housing for the oem deck to screw into on the sides. The aluminum housing for the jensen junk doesn't fit and neither did some other jvc one I have laying around. Looking on realoem doesn't show any housing cage and doesn't even show the deck itself and the diagram doesn't make sense with the e30.

is it #5 and #6 and just a confusing drawing?

Does anyone have a spare one they'd sell me?

#5 and 6 are for a old post style radio. I don't think the factory radio had any kind of "cage". There is a post at the back of the radio I believe and then the front just clamps to the HVAC panel via the 5-sided screws, one on each side.

So correct you are. I was able to use a small allen key and sure enough, wing-like locking tabs folded out! Thank you.
