I've got my 13' inch JL audio W3 sub with a crunch v 2100w amp. I used to have it in my RSX until i crashed it. But now I've had my 91 vert for almost a year now and I'm thinking about installing that sub into the car but with just a smaller box. I'm trying to decide whether I should just get some good speakers or just install my sub. All I want is some clear sound and nice bass. Those bumping and "I got the loudest bass" days are over. But I know if I install that old sub in my e30 it's gonna rattle like a motherfucker.

I'm no car audio expert but what should I do guys? Thanks!

Jed, follow the install link in my sig. The Vert box is a PITA to install, but it is the only way I have ever found to get solid bass in your vert.

the man speaks the truth. his new vert boxes are really good. the car wound pound but will be very rich and balanced.

the install will take no less than 8 hours. if you do the whole system

A. there is not enough room for a 13" in the truck of a vert.
B. Luke's box will fit 2x8" subs
