What stereo/wiring do I have?

So when I bought my car, the factory tape deck needed the code and the PO didn't have it. Besides that, it was just really old so I wanted to replace it. So I did what I've done for all my previous cars - go buy a decent head unit, and the wiring harness. I was hoping to just drop it in, but nope.

Anyways, the harness didn't fit.

What the hell is this wiring can anyone tell me? My car has the separate fader knob on the dash. Not sure if there's a factory amp in the trunk or not.
