Picked up a Clarion DXZ745MP

I finally replaced my old Sony Explode HU with the dxz745mp and to my surprise the sound quality is much improved. The 4volt pre-outs really brought the system to life. The only things I hate about the unit is the face plate removal button, the trim ring is massive and makes the HU look like it sticks out too far, and the remote is f'ing huge!

All in all I'm pleased with it, thanks to Ken for the recommendation

BTW what color codes do you Clarion owners use?

Awesome, I'm glad you like it.

As far as color, I use Red all the way up and then 1 green (or maybe blue haha - whatever one is on the right). It seems to match PERFECTLY. I'll have to snap a pic one of these days.

i have the same deck, and love it.... the match is almost perfect (the function buttons match spot on, but the screen is just a tad yellow) and yes, my deck sticks out a lot too. i'd rather have a flush one but this works fine for now.

however, i find the remote, though huge, fits perfectly in that little slot next to/behind the ebrake :)
