deck from Germany

Would a deck from Germany work in North America? Are they set up for different radio frequencies or anything like that?

everything works, except the news is in geman and on FM, you only hear The Scorpions... they have the same problem in germany

it was a valid question. i know in japan they use a lower frequency than we do, so stereo's dont get any FM at all here.

I won a blaupunkt toronto RMD 128 on ebay.de :-)
It looks stock and that what I was looking for in a CD player.

Currently, I've got one of those Clarion MP3 deck's with matching amber lighting but I don't like how far it sticks out of the dash. So, now I have this and I hope I like it better... I've got so many parts to install on my e30 once it comes out of winter storage. :-)
