new head unit and OBC ?

I will be installing an older Alpine head unit. Only factory wires used will be power, memory and ground.

Will there be issues with OBC ?

Reading here led me to believe i might.

Er...no there shouldn't be. Run a ground from your cigarette lighter's brown wire, though.
