    US Acoustics Amps

Anyone have any experience? I've seen them in crutchfield, and was wondering how good they are; lower priced so probably not that hot, but they seem decent for the price/features

    anyone have any input?

ha alright, thanks for your insightful comments.

so what would be a non-skimp 4 channel for less than say, $275?

HiFonics Zeus!!!!! My friend got one for around that price. We have yet to install it, but HiFonics rules. US Acoustics isn't good: you get what you pay for. A great site is caraudioforum.com. It has soooo much info, and they spread the gift of "non consumer" brands that rock (ie. Cadence, Zapco amps, Elemental Designs subs, etc...)

USX amps are good bang for the buck, i own a USX-600F that powers my IDMAX along with my PPI amps, power my speakers. Their amps are really basic, and yes it isn't the best amp, but good for the money, and pretty clean power. I would get a USX for sub but not for cabin speakers, theres better amps out there, it really depends on what u use it for. Also for USX amps check out www.sounddomain.com their cheap there. = ) USX are good enough until u really know what u want. If u got $275, i say blow it all on a Phoenix Gold tantrum 600. 75wattsx4. If u want to spend a little more, lol theres hella others out there, but with a proper install my USX sounds clean.

            i still don't like hifonics...

most consumer mainstream brands are on my blacklist since most of them market off the name and very few models are actually worht the money.

I've got zapco's and I love them. they're very conservative in their power ratings.
