I have a 1990 325i 2dr, now to the issue. My windows or AC don't work while the car is on. I've done some research and have had two results. One option was to check the wires from the starter, maybe one of them was loose which was not the case. Two was the K5/7 unloader relays. The old relays (pt# 61.31.1.378.301) which came out of the car are no longer made so I was told to get a new version (pt# 61368373700). Now with these new relays in, the windows and AC have constant power. Is this normal with the new relays? Is there a better solution? Any help is appreciated.

Yes...put your old relays back in (they are fine, you got bad info) and remove the green/black wire from your starter.
Once you have disconnected that green/black, ground it using a hunk of wire or whatever.
Once it is grounded, the HVAC fan and windows will work anytime the key is on.
If that works, post your results and we can go from there.
