Did any e36's come with in dash cd?

AFAIK, the only BMW's that shipped with in-dash CD were 5er's with in-dash changers.

BMW has always been big on the CD-changers. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there has been a non-changer in-dash CD player.

The dash, or the dash and gauges.

The latter has been done, I saw pics a couple years ago on DTM. The car was obviously for show, and I have no idea if the gauges even worked. The guy had to do a lot of custom work to get it to git too.

I don't know the simplicity of MK3 to MK4 dash swaps, but this one would be a royal PITA, even for the most BMW-literate.

if they did they are extremely rare. ive seen a bunch of 97-99 E36's and have never seen one with an in dash cd, i dont even think it would fit. i'm pretty sure there are factory cd changers for the e30 though, my friend had one in a 91 318iC, but i'm not 100% sure it was oem

yah its oem, lots of bmw's cmae with changers.

I installed a premium sound system + cd changer in tara's car over last summer.

Turned out damn nice.
