    Analog clock not keeping time

Any idea why my analog clock is slowly over time not keeping time? At first it was little by little 5 min here 5 min there but now it is so wrong all the time, the connections are good and Solid but for whatever reason it doesnt want to keep the time...do they wear out over time, or could it be si battery related?

Wear or old stiff lubricant in the clock would be my guess.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I've never heard of a piece of electronics not working from lubricant

An analog clock has moving parts, never heard of moving parts not using lubricant...

Right but I've never heard of having to re lubricate the gears in a clock after only 20 years, I have a bunch of auto gauges from the 20s in their original state that work fine 90 years later

But I will open it up tonight and see what it looks like inside, any recommendations on lubricant?
