Sub Amp works in ACC, but not when the car is running

So I've had a problem with my sub not working lately. It used to be an occasional problem, but I replaced my battery and it consistently doesn't work anymore.

When I'm sitting in the car, with the engine off listening to music, my amplifier will turn on and work. As soon as I start the car it stops working.

The strange thing is that the amplifier for the highs and my crossover both work at all times.

At first I thought that maybe I wasn't getting enough power through the remote wire to fire both amplifiers and the crossover up. I added a relay, and it still doesnt work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Addis

Hey man...throw a meter on your power leads, check voltage. If your alternator is crapping out, it may be overcharging.

If you don't have access to a voltmeter, then swap the connections from another amp onto that one.

I tried swapping them once before with no help to the situation.

It is some sort of remote/power problem. I'm guessing the amp is just too slow to recognize the remote signal after when I start it. I was playing around yesterday, all I have to do is either turn the deck off before i start it, or once the car is started turn the deck off and on again- then that amp will work for some reason.

          Thanks for the ideas-

Try to run the remote wire from your ignition switch instead of the blue/white wire on the head unit. That's a pretty strange problem...
