    Accessory fuse box & c302

    Helloooo everybody

I'm planning to rewire my '86 E, I have the correct wiring diagram.
I've read that our cars have an "accessory fuse box" and something about "connector 302".

I'm trying to properly locate this fuse box and connector so I can run a seperate power wire to the headunit.

Is this the accessory fuse box (small one) because this does NOT look like connector 302.

not familiar with the early models but that sure looks like an auxiliary fuse panel to me (even if it isnt the factory unit). nice that it seems to have screw terminals for easy connection (the late model uses blade fuses and you have to purchase the correct crimp terminals to use it) these you just strip the wire insert and tighten set screw . test it with a meter or test light ,again if like the later model it will have one constant 12V (my guess the red wire) and one switched 12V ignition key in "run" (prolly green wire)

Sounds good, thank you. I could use those both to replace the switched and constant power wires with the shared ones. The goal is to retrofit the Hifi sound system from my crashed E36 into my E30
