Hi, I have a 92 convertible that I just picked up and it came with a crappy after market stereo that had been hacked in. The car originally had the premium sound system with the amp in the back and the car came with the original KE-83 stereo which I want to put back in.
I also have another 92 which I just parted out that had the standard sound, it however also came with the same KE-83. The big difference is it has speaker wires for all 4 speaker running to the deck where as the premium sound has just two channels.
I have repaired all the wires going to the amp and I'm just trying to figure out a couple connections at the dash. I still need to find a fader for the stereo but aside from that there are a couple wires floating around and not connected with the deck I have. In 92 they weren't even making sedans or coupes so I think there were dumping different stereos into the convertibles so the extra wires could be for other decks.
If anyone has a premium sound and knows if these are even connected could you let me know. On the KE-83 the only other plugins available are for the two other speakers, I have circled the 3 loose connections, Thanks!
